Meat! It's what's for dinner.

My dad likes meat. A LOT of meat. When he plans a birthday party - he gets a giant steak for each person plus 5, even though my kids might each might eat a third of one. When I offered to host my mom birthday and suggested pork chops - he said to get 15 for 11 people. 5 kids (one tall high school boy and 4 smaller kids) and 6 adults... 15 pork chops. I said "Are you sure? These are huge" "Get them, I’m paying." Done. I ended up getting 16 giant pork chops because they came in packs of two, I got an amazing deal on them. I even sent a photo. I decided to use a recipe from our family in Iowa - since my mom had really liked it when she was there. That was a HUGE container and a LOT of meat. Poor Andy spent so much time in the heat and grilling these massive chops - but they were so good. Now we have leftovers... All the yummy left overs...

Apple Juice Pork Chop Marinade
1 ½ c. apple juice
¼ c. lemon juice
¼ c. soy sauce
2 T. honey
¼ tsp. pepper
Combine and cover chops. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Place shops on grill and baste with the marinade.
