Miss B is 8, Eight!
We had a very low key birthday for her this year - since you know 2020 us the year of low key everything because, you know... COVID-19. We had only a few people over, but birthday parties still require birthday cakes!
Bronwyn liked this petal cake - so I did my best to deliver. Hindsight being 20/20 I would have done a few things differently to 'end' the rainbow a bit better... but I won't show you that hot mess. The cake turned out great and she was one very happy girl. A friend of mine suggested I write Happy Birthday on it. Perhaps this friend doesn't remember my awful penmanship, it's so bad... Also I asked the birthday girl what she wanted on top and she said nothing, she liked the white top, so the birthday girl gets what she wants. I was actually going to do more rainbow... but nope, she thought it was a great place for candles. So thankful for this girl and her big heart. Can't wait to see what the new year brings.
