Good enough to pound nails in.

Sometimes I refuse to share recipes – it’s once again that day. This bread looks OK right? Well it could pound nails in. I’m not sure if it was the weather or my rise times or if I let it be too sticky and didn’t add enough flour… it wasn’t good – at all. I mean right out of the oven it was good, we added butter, it tasted good, a little crunchy. I did stick a thermometer in it because no way it was done after 25 minutes of baking… more like 50 minutes. 190 is the magic bread done temp… it took a while. I tried using my homemade cinnamon chips… I don’t think that was the failure point, but on the hunt for a softer bread texture recipe to give them a whirl again. Also I got low stars from my family because I didn’t swirl extra cinnamon sugar IN the bread. Coming… I am not Pepperidge Farms. Back to the drawing board. I mean it looks good right?! Good enough to pound nails in.
