The story of 76 butterflies....

don't worry... it's short...
Fall/Winter isn’t exactly the time I’m think about making butterfly cupcakes, but my mother-in-law needed them for a memorial service she was hosting… So back to my favorite book “Hello Cupcake” to make 76 butterfly cupcakes.
Basically these little guys are made by piping dark chocolate and orange colored vanilla chocolate on wax paper… then dragging a toothpick through – adding nonpareils… then to the refrigerator. Process is pretty easy… but for 76 butterflies… that meant 152 wings… and a few extra just in case… then proper cupcake placement and piping the body… so yeah… next time… probably will just do 24 of these little babies. :)
