Best Potpourri Ever! And... you can eat it!

Baked Apples are awesome. End of story, no more words necessary.
Oh, Ok… Apples cored with a little butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and white sugar… Baked in an oven for 45 minutes – fills the house with an amazing smell. The apples explode in their dishes – it’s like the best hot applesauce you’ll ever encounter.
I’ve been making these more and more lately. Andy will be at meetings in the evening - so I will have them ready for when he comes home. The baked apple warms you all up after being out in the cold. Best potpourri ever!

Baked Apple
What you need!
1 Granny Smith Apple
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon white sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ tablespoon butter or margarine
¼ cup water

Make it!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Core apple. Cut a slice off top and bottom of apple. Place apple in custard dish, fill middle of apple with sugars, cinnamon and butter. Fill outside edge of dish with water.
Place custard dish on cookie sheet and bake for 30-45 minutes. Be very careful – dish will be hot – so will the apple – but it will be amazing.
