Quilt for Kris
This design is in memory of Kris Stott of Norden Crafts.
When Myrtle Grace Motifs had just started its adventure, we did the Nashville Needlework Show. We were tucked away in a corner next door to Norden Crafts. I didn’t have a distributor at the time, but longed to go talk to Norden. I didn’t have the courage. On the last day of the show, Kris came in and complimented my designs and said she’d heard so many good things about them. She then offered to distribute my designs. And that’s how it all began!
Last year, Kris suddenly passed away. It was a shock to the needlework world – and to me. This is just a little way to honor her and thank her for giving me a chance.
