In the hunt for a recipe for my family cookie exchange, I ran across this one. While these were amazing, they were too much work to make 18 billion for the family. But they were great. They have enough sweet and salty to balance well. They also have an oreo cream cheese middle – how can that be bad? Trust me – they are great. One suggestion someone made was dipping them into white chocolate instead… if you are into that sort of thing – go for it… I’ll take dark chocolate any day.
Oreo Cheesecake Pretzel Bites
What you need!
15 whole Oreo Cookies
2 oz cold cream cheese
48 square pretzels
2 Cups chocolate chunks or chocolate chips, melted
Sprinkles
Make it!
Place Oreos into a food processor and process until finely ground. Mix Oreo crumbs and cream cheese until dough forms. Pinch 1 Tablespoon of dough and form into a little square. Place onto pretzel then gently press top pretzel to close. Dip into melted chocolate and top with sprinkles. Chill until chocolate has hardened and serve.
