Ever have a bag of candy stare you down?

There they were – just staring at me… Stupid Mint M&M’s. Who bought those things? Shoot… it was me. But they were on sale – it seemed so smart. But there they were – a whole bag – just taunting me to eat them – all – in one sitting. Talk about a belly ache.
They sat unopened on the counter. Then – a party appeared. Actually we were invited – parties don’t just appear do they? Anyway – a snack was requested. A snack – what does that mean? Cookies… cookies are a snack. Chocolate cookies with mint M&M’s baked in them. Yes… that’s the ticket! Share the wealth of these little mint beauties.
These cookies turned out awesome. I added the extra mini morsels just to edge up the chocolate – you know because there wasn’t enough right? When warm from the oven – the chocolate is warm and gooey… oh yeah, good stuff.
Tell your friends and neighbors to get those Mini M&M’s and make cookies out of them, Ok you can eat them too – but don’t start eating them before baking – you may never have enough.
Wonder how these would taste with Peanut Butter M&M’s? Or… oh! The possibilities!!
