Canning Exchange 2013

One of my favorite nights of the fall season - getting together with my aunts and cousins to share recipes and stories. This year was no different.  How blessed to be a part of this family among these great women.  This year’s recipe line up was such a variety - how fun!  Chai Tea, Canned Potatoes, two different Taco Seasonings, Grandma's Secret recipe for pickled beets (my aunt held the beets hostage one year just to force her to show her how to make them!), Rhubarb BBQ Sauce, Mint Jelly, Pineapple Jam, Pumpkin Spread, Applesauce and my boring Strawberry Jam.  Quite the line up!
Can't wait to do it again next year, but first this December we do our family cookie exchange.  Yet another fun night of eating and getting together.
