Seasoning Destroying Good Recipe

First off we should change the recipe name and just say pizza casserole.  Sure you can make it in your well-seasoned cast iron skillet, but be warned, the acid from the tomatoes will eat that coating you have worked so hard to maintain over the years (sorry Andy).
This casserole?  Yummy!  We were afraid it wouldn't tastes much like pizza but it did.  It was also great for leftovers in lunches.  Bronwyn?  Oh she ate it all up.  See?  If you can get a one year old to eat it, it's a winner!

Pizza Skillet Bake
1lb Turkey Sausage
1/2 Cup Onion-Chopped
1/4 Cup Green Bell Pepper- Chopped
2 T All Purpose Flour
15 oz can Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic & Oregano (or regular diced tomatoes and add basil, garlic and oregano)
4 oz Mushrooms- Drained
10 oz Tube Biscuits- Quartered
2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella

Heat sausage, onion and peppers in oven-proof skillet until veggies are tender.
Drain if necessary.
Sprinkle with flour and add tomatoes (with juices) and mushrooms.
Arrange biscuit pieces over mixture and top with cheese.
Bake uncovered at 400 for 12-15 minutes. (Broil for a minute at the end to turn cheese golden if desired).
