Shaking, Dancing, and Stirring in the Kitchen

Puppy Chow is delicious... well the people kind - not the dog kind. I think about making it for MOPS but we have a strict no-nut policy and peanut butter is often a key ingredient in puppy chow.
We were having a full building pot luck at work and I decided to try a different kind of puppy chow - Cake Batter Puppy Chow - or Muddy Buddies - whatever your people call them... we call it Puppy Chow - so let's call it that. This one doesn't have peanut butter so it would work great for MOPS. Basically Rice Chex, Vanilla Almond Bark, Yellow Cake Mix, Sprinkles, and Powdered Sugar. It makes all the bowls messy but it's so, so very good.
Usually, in the kitchen I don't have an audience in the evening - last night - everyone wanted to know what I was doing. We had Alexa play some wedding dance songs and we danced as we rolled and shook up the Puppy Chow. What a fun night in the kitchen - even Bernard was extra crazy - must have been the dancing.
I poured out the puppy chow on cookie sheets to cool off and harden and had to put it in a container with a lid since I kept sneaking bites here and there. It's good. It's SOO good. Now I want to try to make all the kinds of puppy chow. All.the.kinds.
Now MOPS needs to get going and started so I can make this for all my mamas there.

Cake Batter Puppy Chow
5 cups Rice Chex cereal
10 ounces vanilla flavored Almond Bark
3/4 cup yellow cake mix
1/4 cup powdered sugar
colored sprinkles
Pour 5 cups of Chex Cereal into a large bowl.
Melt Almond Bark according to the package directions.
Pour Almond Bark over cereal, stirring and folding until the cereal is completely covered. Generously shake sprinkles over mixture and fold them in as well. so they stick to the Almond Bark.
In a large bag or covered container such as Tupperware, put cake mix and powdered sugar and shake to mix evenly.
Pour the Almond Bark covered cereal into the large bag or container containing cake mix and powdered sugar. Seal the bag or container and shake until all the cereal is coated with the powdered mixture.
Discard excess powder and enjoy!
