Less Sugar - Still Muffiny

My standard use for brown bananas is banana muffins or banana bread - same recipe - different form. The only problem with my recipe is it has 2 cups of sugar. That's a LOT of sugar when you are rocking a lower sugar lifestyle.
I found a recipe that takes 3 bananas and uses a sugar sub. Yeah... I know... this isn't what everyone wants - but if you are looking for something muffiny - this might be your jam... you could even add jam... you could add fruit to these too - or chocolate - whatever delicious add-in sounds good to you. Oohhh apples and cinnamon... that's my next try... it's happening!!

1 Smart Point Muffins
3 ripe bananas
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
3 Tbls granulated sweetener
pinch of salt
1 cup self rising flour

Using a blender, blend all ingredients except flour. Pour into a bowl and mix in flour. Spray a regular size muffin tin and divide batter into 11 or 12 muffins. Bake at 375 for 18 - 20 minutes or until done. Refrigerate after cooled.
